What is Polarization?
|
Polarized lenses utilize polarized filtering technology to diffuse the concentrated light waves. This filtering process eliminates 99% of the reflected glare. |
When light is reflected off a flat surface it is concentrated in a horizontal plane. This concentration produces bothersome glare.

Action Optics polarized lenses effectively eliminate horizontally reflected glare and the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays. the end result is greater clarity, definition, brilliant color transmission and reduced eyestrain.

Photochromic Lenses. This feature in built in and provides increased versatility. Photochromic lenses subtly adjust the density of their tint to varying light conditions. In bright light the lenses become darker and in low light conditions the tint lightens.

Polarized Glass Lenses
Action Optics polarized glass lenses are designed for situations where the utmost in visual clarity and definition is needed. The 8 base glass lenses utilize decentered lens technology for optically correct vision in wrap style frames.
Select colors available with photochromic lenses.

Polarized Polycarbonate Lenses
Action Optics polycarbonate lenses provide optically correct polarized performance. They are extremely impact resistant, lightweight and include a scratch resistant coating. Polycarbonate sunglasses offer an outstanding value in polarized vision technology.
