Oakley Hydrophobic is a permanent lens coating that prevents water from leaving streaks and sheens, which can compromise vision. Whether it’s rain, sweat or splashing runoff, H2O can’t get a foothold. And that’s just half the story.

Skin oils, fingerprints and lotions are easily wiped away without leaving a residue, eliminating the haze that makes ordinary lenses a nightmare to keep clean. We even made the coating anti-static so it won’t attract dust and dirt like ordinary lenses.

High Definition Optics take advantage of patented innovations, like XYZ Optics for unbeatable clarity at all angles of vision - even at the sides of lens contours that open peripheral view and optimize protection against sun, wind and side impact. Surpassing all ANSI Z87.1 standards for clarity, refraction and prism.

Lens Options:

• HI Persimmon -- Allows 59% light to eyes. Light Index=1 (Overcast). Sport performance lens for flat to low light. Filters blue light to boost contrast and enhance depth perception. Features an Iridium® coating to reduce glare and balance light transmission.
• G30 -- Allows 30% light to eyes. Light Index=2 (Partly Cloudy). Sport performance lens for flat to medium light. Rose base with a subtle Iridium® coating to improve contrast and depth perception in blues and greens. Excellent for golf.
• VR28 -- Allows 28% light to eyes. Light Index=2 (Partly Cloudy). Flat to medium light. Filters blue light to increase contrast and improve depth perception in a wide variety of conditions.
• G26 -- Allows 26% light to eyes. Light Index=2 (Partly Cloudy). Target-shooting-specific lens for flat to medium light. Enhances orange in targets while increasing contrast against green and blue backgrounds. Not to be used for other activities.
• Gray -- Allows 18% light to eyes. Light Index=2 (Partly Cloudy). Medium to bright light. Excellent all-purpose lens offering truer color perception in sunny conditions.
• Fire Iridium -- Allows 16% light to eyes. Light Index=3 (Sunny). Medium to bright light. Improves visual acuity. Features an Iridium® coating to further tune contrast and reduce glare.
• Tungsten Iridium -- Allows 15% light to eyes. Light Index=3 (Sunny). Medium to bright light. Sharpens visual acuity and improves depth perception. Features a subtle Iridium® coating to reduce glare and tune contrast.
• G20 Black Iridium -- Allows 15% light to eyes. Light Index=3 (Sunny). Medium light. Rose base with an Iridium® coating to improve contrast and reduce glare.
• Blue Iridium -- Allows 15% light to eyes. Light Index=3 (Sunny). Medium to bright light. Utilizes a contrast-enhancing VR28® lens tint with an Iridium coating to further tune contrast and reduce glare.
• Polarized Bronze -- Allows 15% light to eyes. Light Index=3 (Sunny). Medium to bright light. Excellent all-purpose lens that cuts blinding glare while boosting contrast and depth perception.
• Gold Iridium -- Allows 12% light to eyes. Light Index=3 (Sunny). Extremely bright light. Excellent all-purpose contrast-enhancing lens for sunny conditions. Features an Iridium® coating to reduce glare.
• Black Iridium -- Allows 10% light to eyes. Light Index=3 (Sunny). Extremely bright light. Excellent all-purpose lens for sunny conditions. Offers truer color perception. Features an Iridium® coating to reduce glare.
• Polarized Black Iridium -- Allows 9% light to eyes. Light Index=3 (Sunny). Extremely bright light. Comfortable lens tint that offers truer color perception. Features an Iridium® coating for maximized glare reduction.
