The No Tears™ series focuses on sunglass and goggle designs that seal the wearers eye orbits from the outside elements.

Seventeen years ago Wiley X began producing a sunglass line based off of customer feedback and insight. Wiley X understands that the customer is the real expert. Continuing with this philosophy we are proud to launch our new line of modular sunglasses and goggles that are not only fashionable but also functional. Our new Magna-Seal™ and Seal-Tek™ technologies take our No Tears™ philosophy to a whole new level. Patented removable gaskets allow the user to completely seal their eyes while riding. Remove the gasket and you have a sunglass you can wear in any casual setting. Wiley X is the leader in cycle specific eyewear for a reason, and that reason is you.

No Tears > Interchangeable Series:
Flexible, TR-90 nylon makes up the interchangeable series. Shatterproof polycarbonate lenses provide no nonsense reliability, shielding your eyes from almost hurled at them. Multiple packages give you the option of different lens combinations in changing light and weather conditions. Using Socket™ technology, the frames are built to surround the eye orbits, preventing wind, debris, and shadows form disturbing your field of vision. Each frame is desired to cut wind and eliminate backlit glare. Our unique Slot™ design forms the Interchangeable system, providing customs grooves in the frame, making the interchanging of lenses hassle free.

When the Army Rangers approached us two years ago they wanted us to design a ballistic goggle they could wear for all around use. They wanted something they could jump with, use during close quarters combat as well as have basic sun protection in their down time. Two years in development the SG-1 system has met all the challenges posed.

This patented low profile goggle functions perfect as a jump goggle. It stays firmly in place and its' aerodynamic lines cut through the wind. Once on the ground the goggle performs better than any sand, dust or wind goggle ever imagined. Our "Ultra Foam" is a rubber based rim that is much more durable than traditional goggle foam. It also provides a much better seal around the ocular ridge keeping foreign objects and particles from the users field of vision. Our "Ultra Foam" is also the only foam that can be customized based on environment and operations being conducted. Notches are intentionally manufactured into the foam so sections can be removed. This allows more ventilation if conducting intense operations in humid conditions. If the conditions are very dry, where sand, dust, and wind is a prominent concern, then the foam remains as is. Please Note: Ultra Foam cannot be replaced once removed. This goggle was widely heralded for its performance in sandstorms experienced by our troops conducting both OEF and OIF.

The SG-1's streamlined design fits better under all issued helmets and is more functional given the interchangeable, two lens package. Our wrap back technology drastically improves peripheral vision, plus the lenses can be interchanged providing day and night protection. Each ballistic lens is layered with our proprietary anti-fog, and scratch resistant coatings providing perfect optical clarity and protection. The SG-1 is currently the only goggle that truly functions with NVG's.

Lastly the product can be converted from a goggle into a functional, ballistic sunglass providing all around use. This is the only true ballistic, modular goggle ever produced. Each SG-1 system comes with two sets of ballistic, anti-fog lenses (clear and tinted), elastic strap, temples and case for storage.

No Tears > Seal-Tek™ Series:
Dock and lock the Ultra Foam™ gasket to the frame with this unique patented system featuring Seal-Tek™ technology. Whether you're riding your hog, fishing, hiking, sailing or just being casual, the user determines the configuration. Pegs and tracks situated in precise positions on each gasket. When attached to the frame they combine by creating pressure points, securing the gasket in place. When worn, these amazing frames can seal the users eyes from the outside elements giving clear, unobstructed vision. Add our Mini-Elastic strap through T-Peg™ docking and convert this system into a functional goggle for long run assurance.

Modular Goggles Series:
Wiley X has devoted a specific department to the development and creation of new and innovative designs based on feedback from soldiers and officers in the field. These ballistic, modular systems combine several eye protecting functions in one. Wiley X prides itself on designing modular eye protection that can be worn for multiple applications. Single lens units and interchangeable one, two and three lens systems have been designed to function in any application where clear, protected sight is needed.

Interchangeable Ballistic Series:
Multiple, interchangeable frame systems allow for different lens combinations when weather is changing from dusk till dawn. Triloid nylon frames are virtually unbreakable and designed to cut wind and eliminate backlit glare. Slot™ technology forms the interchangeable system, making the changing of lenses hassle free.

Polarized Series:
We spent the last two years developing one of the most sophisticated Polarized lines, for both Casual and Active customers alike. We've taken basic polarized lens technology to a whole new level. By combining our new Filter 8™ Polarized film with Violet 4™ Anti-Reflective and Slick™ Hydophilic coatings, we have maximized visual performance. Our new Seal-Tek™ technology allows the user to seal his / hers eye's while fishing, boating, or doing anything active. This "Clear Eye Housing" allows the user to perform at their best and not be distracted by reflections or the environment. Remove the seal and you have a great pair of shades in any casual setting. Slick™ Clear optical coating is a super hydrophilic mixture that repels water, salt water, and ice from the lens, preventing spotting from occurring on the surface. This advanced coating maintains the life of the lens. Now smudges and stains are easily removed with soft micro fiber case that is enclosed with all Wiley X frames.

T-Shell™ Hard coat adds an extra layer of anti-scratch coating to each lens for added protection and longer life. This flexible coating keeps the lenses from cracking or crazing, maintaining clear vision.

Selenite™ Polycarbonate Lenses Provide shatterproof reliability. Each lens is die-cut from larger lens blanks to eliminate distortion and provide optical clarity at all angles. These lenses are 10 times more impact resistant than glass or resin lenses and easily exceed global impact standards. Enclosed with all Wiley X frames.

Filter 8™ Polarized Film Provides 100% Ultra Violet protection of 99.9% Polarization for unequaled clarity and contrast, granting perfect visual acuity. Our proprietary film, working in conjunction with our high tech coatings, controls the luminous transmission of the suns rays allowing the perfect amount of light to reach the eye's pupils.

Violet 4™ A/R (Anti-Reflective) Coating Adds another optical filter to every lens to eliminate back-lit glare which is a major cause of eye fatigue and strain. Lens Technology:
At Wiley X, they produce their lenses using the precise amount of dyes in the manufacturing process, eliminating eye fatigue and strain. All Wiley X lenses block 400 nanometers or 100% of the suns harmful Ultra Violet rays. Each lens is made from pure shatterproof Selenite™ polycarbonate and far exceed ANSI Z87.1 safety and ANSI Z80.3 optical standards. We then formulate and die-cut each lens to eliminate distortion, giving the user perfect optical clarity. These features, combined with a wide range of performance enhancing tints, work together to provide the ultimate in eye protection without optical compromise.

LA™ Lenses - darken on bright sunny days to shield the eyes from harmful Ultra Violet rays. On overcast days or at night the lenses adjust to clear for perfect optical clarity. Now you don't have to stop to interchange lenses. This new technology is also produced using shatterproof polycarbonate. This is much different than the old photochromic lens technology that use glass and CR-39, which can shatter if struck by a rock while riding. They've also incorporated our new Emerald 4™) anti-reflective coatings to eliminate back-lit glare from the sun or car headlights truly giving the wearer the most functional riding lens available.
